Thank You for Your Support

On November 20th, we were able to gather over 100 friends, family, and Miles of Hope supporters for a night of connection, important conversation, and to raise funds for The Osteosarcoma Institute. Together, were able to raise over $60,000—$20,000 over our fundraising goal—with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Miles of Hope Fund, which advances expert-driven research and science. Every dollar goes directly toward groundbreaking osteosarcoma studies, including new projects and clinical trials aimed at developing urgently needed treatments. Your generous support fuels innovation and brings hope to children and adolescents battling osteosarcoma, helping to improve outcomes for patients. The Hartz Family is immensely grateful for your continued support and can’t wait to host their 3rd Annual Race for Hope in New Caney, Texas on April 24, 2026 in honor of their son, Miles.

About the Osteosarcoma Institute

Our Strategy

Globally estimated, there are over 26,000 new cases of osteosarcoma diagnosed each year, with 1,000 being diagnosed in the US, but treatment options haven’t advanced in 40 years. To find a cure for osteosarcoma, we have to collaborate, innovate, and translate around the most promising science.

Our Mission

The Osteosarcoma Institute’s mission is to dramatically increase treatment options and survival rates in osteosarcoma patients through identifying and funding the most promising and breakthrough osteosarcoma clinical trials and science.
