Cycle to Raise Funds for Osteosarcoma Research
Join friends, family, and supporters for the 4th Annual Cycle for Charlotte community bike ride in loving memory of Charlotte Murdoff. Hosted by Charlotte’s parents, Alli and Sherrick Murdoff, this special event celebrates Charlotte’s life while raising critical funds for expert-led osteosarcoma research through The Osteosarcoma Institute.
Charlotte Murdoff was a vibrant, compassionate, and determined young woman whose warmth and fun-loving spirit touched everyone she met. She loved spending time with family and friends, fashion, cooking, sports, the beach, and her beloved dog, Cody. Her bright smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness made her someone people naturally gravitated toward.
Just before starting high school in July 2018, Charlotte was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Over the next three years, she faced chemotherapy, surgery, clinical trials, radiation, and other treatments with remarkable courage. Throughout her journey, she remained committed to helping future osteosarcoma patients by participating in research whenever possible.
Charlotte passed away on September 22, 2021, after a courageous three-year battle with osteosarcoma. Today, her legacy lives on through the Charlotte Murdoff Research Fund at The Osteosarcoma Institute, which supports innovative research focused on developing better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
By riding, donating, or supporting Cycle for Charlotte, you are honoring Charlotte’s life while helping create hope for osteosarcoma patients and families everywhere.

About The Osteosarcoma Institute
Our Strategy
Globally estimated, there are over 26,000 new cases of osteosarcoma diagnosed each year, with 1,000 being diagnosed in the US, but treatment options haven’t advanced in 40 years. To find a cure for osteosarcoma, we have to collaborate, innovate, and translate around the most promising science.
Our Mission
The Osteosarcoma Institute’s mission is to dramatically increase treatment options and survival rates in osteosarcoma patients through identifying and funding the most promising and breakthrough osteosarcoma clinical trials and science.
